De Wet arbeidsmarkt in balans (Wab) is bedoeld om de verschillen in kosten en risico’s tussen vast werk en flexwerk te verkleinen. De wet moet het voor werkgevers aantrekkelijker maken om werknemers sneller een vast contract te geven. Het grootste deel van de maatregelen is op 1 januari 2020 in werking getreden.
